Privacy Policy
The short version: we process almost nothing. Email me and I'll have your email. Accept analytics and Google Analytics counts your visit. That's the whole list — no selling, no ads, no profiling.

Who is responsible (the controller)

What we process, and why
1. Email correspondence. If you write to contact@featuringcode.com, we process your email address, your name if you sign it, and whatever you choose to tell us. Legal basis: taking steps toward a contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep correspondence as long as the conversation — or the business relationship it leads to — needs it.
2. Analytics — only if you consent. If you press Accept on the cookie banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), Google Analytics 4 collects usage data: pages visited, rough device and browser information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google LLC (USA) processes this on our behalf; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We see aggregate statistics, never you as a person. You can withdraw consent at any time on the cookie policy page — withdrawal stops measurement immediately and deletes the analytics cookies. If you never consent, none of this happens.
3. Hosting logs.The site is served by Vercel Inc. (USA), whose infrastructure may briefly log requests (IP address, user agent) for security and operations — a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) with short retention, under Vercel's data processing terms.
4. The contact form. If you send the project brief on the contact page, we process what you put in it: your name, email, optionally your company and a link, and your answers about the project. Legal basis: taking steps toward a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)). The brief is delivered to our inbox by Resend Inc. (USA) as an email-delivery processor (EU–US Data Privacy Framework / standard contractual clauses) and kept like any other correspondence — as long as the conversation or the business relationship needs it. It goes nowhere else.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your data, run ads, build profiles, or make automated decisions about you. We don't collect anything this page doesn't mention.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before. Write to contact@featuringcode.com — we answer within a month.
If you believe we've handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal, dataprotection.ro) — or to the data protection authority of your own EU country.
Changes
If what we process changes, this page changes first — the date at the top tells you when.
